From a screened-in porch to a full outdoor kitchen — we design and build the outdoor room you actually use.
Screened-in porches, enclosures and porticos. Custom cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans and Eze-Breeze panels for three-season use.
Covered outdoor rooms, pergolas, and hardscape patios in stone, brick or pavers — tied cleanly into your existing home.
Built-in grills, fireplaces and outdoor cooking areas. Gas, electric and water all handled — permitted and inspected.
Outdoor living projects go wrong when nobody owns the whole thing. Wes owns it.
We design the porch or patio to match the roofline, materials and scale of your home — not a catalog photo dropped in the backyard.
Framing, electrical, gas, roofing, flooring and finish — all Need Construction. No sub-to-sub telephone game where quality slips through the cracks.
GAF-certified roofing, Deckorators composite, Brazilian hardwood, Fortress railing — backed by real manufacturer warranties.
Full design, material selections and final price before we start. No "while we're at it" change orders that triple your bill.
Wes and the Need Construction crew earn every 5-star review.
"We set out to replace wood rot on our screened-in porch. We discovered much more rotten wood than anticipated, including carpenter ants. Wes came out Friday afternoon..."
"One of the posts on my front porch was damaged, leaving the roof sagging. Need Construction went above and beyond — installed a temporary post to support the roof while writing up an estimate..."
"My husband and I are very happy with the service from Wes and his team! Reasonable prices and quality, professional service. We had siding replaced, porch railing repairs, deck repairs..."
Share a few details and Wes will follow up same-day during business hours to schedule an on-site design consultation.
Most screened porches fall in the $30k–$85k range, depending on roof style, ceiling finish, flooring, and whether we're adding electrical, gas or built-ins. Outdoor kitchens add $15k–$40k on top. You see the full fixed price before we start.
From signed contract, most screened porches run 6–10 weeks — about 3–4 weeks for design, permits and materials, then 3–5 weeks of on-site build. Outdoor kitchens and larger multi-element projects run longer and we're upfront about the timeline.
Yes. We handle county permits, HOA submissions and coordinate all inspections. We don't start framing or pouring until approvals are in hand — everything goes through the proper channels.
Yes — tying into the existing roofline and matching materials is what separates a porch that looks built-in from one that looks bolted-on. We're GAF-certified on roofing and carry Deckorators, Fortress and premium hardwood lines so we can match most North Atlanta homes cleanly.
